A beautiful Saturday afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and wedding day kisses. I haven’t spent much time in Cary, but we trekked over to White Plains UMC for Jen & Mark’s wedding. This church is almost in a serene neighborhood that was still coming to life in late Spring. We really could not have asked for better weather. Most of the day was spent at the church where Jen is on the pastoral staff, ministering to youth and young adults. I was delighted to get to know her, especially since we share the unity of Divinity school strife. The reception was held at the church, but we didn’t hang around long.
Mark had proposed at Pullen Park in Raleigh and it was fitting to take their bridal party portraits in such a picturesque location. It was a little crazy on that cool Saturday afternoon, but we found some intimate moments in the midst of the craziness.
Not pictured, but one of my favorite parts of their day was the private reception at Mellow Mushroom, where we as well as close family and friends were treated to some incredible pizza.
Best of wishes to Mark and Jen as they continue on in this new adventure. We were happy to be a part of the story.
Also, please note that my website has changed, but is not completely functional. It is a work in progress, as is everything.
