A little over two years ago Sarah and I moved into a beautiful old renovated craftsman style house in Old East Durham. About 6 months later or so, we learned that a friend of a friend, Gretchen, was buying a house down the street from us. Rather than buying a renovated home she decided to take on the behemoth task herself, with the help of her friends. That is just the type of woman she is. We have slowly been becoming friends with Gretchen and have been delighted to get to know Tim as well.
These two met at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. The story goes that they were friends but Gretchen wasn’t entirely interested at the time. It seems that they remained close friends and Tim’s endless perseverance paid off. These are two of the most delightful people you will ever meet and we are honored to participate in their wedding day.
They were married at Church of the Good Shepherd in Durham, NC and had family style reception celebration at the Reality Center off of Gregson Avenue. Cheers to both of you and we look forward to seeing more and more of your beautiful faces!
